Ciderwithroadies is an unique project, blending Arts, Horticulture and an appreciation of Local Heritage.

We’re hoping to create enjoyable options which provide opportunities for great community events. We hope that people can be enthralled by a performance, use up those spare apples, be encouraged to plant more, and learn more about our local cultural heritage.

We will soon be appointing an Apple Animateur to work part-time over the next two years, touring with the press, investigating local apple culture, arranging apple events and collating information for an interactive website.

For this autumn we are offering a number of interlinked touring events. For details see our 'Touring Elements 2007' section.

For those of you that participated in our pilot outing last year, we hope to visit again, and whilst it may seem more complicated, it’s our intention to keep an informal feel to the event. You’ll remember how we were often inundated with apples so you’ll understand why we’re restricting the number of apples this year to around two bucketfuls’ per person.
